The cottage was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a peaceful atmosphere. It was great that the cottage was dog-friendly, making it perfect for our furry friend. The host was welcoming and had the keys ready upon our arrival. The cottage had all the amenities we could possibly need, including an outdoor BBQ that we enjoyed using. The location was just right - a little out of the way for a peaceful getaway, but not too far to reach local areas. It was wonderful waking up to the sound of birdsong in the morning. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful retreat!
The living room area was a bit smaller than expected, but it still felt cozy and comfortable. The shared bathroom could benefit from better ventilation or a fan, although this may not be possible due to the nature of the building.

We had a fantastic week at this lovely cottage in a peaceful rural setting. the hosts were very welcoming, even providing us with a welcoming pack including fresh bread, butter, and milk. the kitchen was well-equipped and the outdoor BBQ was a great addition. the views from the house and yard were breathtaking, overlooking beautiful hills and fields. the cottage was equipped with a separate toilet outside the front door, which was very convenient for our group of friends.
The fridge and separate freezer in the cottage were quite small, which made it a bit challenging to store all our food and beverages.

Waking up to the sound of birdsong was a lovely way to start the day. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone in need of a peaceful getaway.
Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about this property. It was absolutely stunning, clean, and well, tended.

My stay at Rock House Cottage was absolutely stunning! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a small manor with the beautiful furnishings and lovely views from every room. The cottage was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and a variety of kitchen supplies. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the family bathroom had a modern shower with powerful water pressure. The cottage was decorated with beautiful paintings made by one of the owners, adding a personal touch. I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and the sound of the bubbling brook at night was so soothing. The walking paths next to the property were a great way to explore the area. I also appreciated the convenient grocery delivery from Sainsbury's & Waitrose and the excellent service from a local miniCab company. I had a great stay and I highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway.
The property is quite remote, with the nearest pub being a 30-minute walk away. Additionally, finding the property using the given postcode was a bit challenging, especially in the dark and on narrow winding lanes.

We had a wonderful time exploring the picturesque countryside surrounding the cottage. The location was perfect, with easy access to beautiful walks and stunning views. We especially enjoyed the hike to Heltor Rock, where the effort of the climb was rewarded with breathtaking scenery. The cottage itself was lovely, with all the necessary amenities and a cozy atmosphere. The personal touches, such as fresh flowers and local produce, added a special touch to our stay.
That finding the cottage was a bit tricky, as it is tucked away in a rural area. However, with careful attention to directions, we were able to locate it without too much trouble.
